Felipe Tak Tersentuh

Jika minggu kemarin capirossi tidak tersentuh di gp ceko, kini giliran felipe di gp turki. Walaupun merupakan sosok yang berlomba di ajang yang berbeda, capirossi di motogp sedang felipe di formula 1, tetapi bulan ini mereka membuktikan ketangguhan kenderaan dan mental juara yang hebat, tidak tersentuh memimpin dari awal hingga akhir.

Selamat Felipe, berbeda dengan Jensie yang berhasil menjuarai GP F1 untuk yang pertama kali nya di hungaria kemarin, Felipe kelihatan emosional, di podium dia sempat mewek karena gak sanggup menahan air matanya, dapat di maklumi bagaimana bercampur baur perasaan di hati Felipe.

Bagi ku, sangat senang sekali melihat ada juara baru di musim 2006, bosan kali lihat alonso atau schumi aja yang juara. Selain itu jensie dan kenderaaannya juga semakin baik, paling tidak pedro juga tidak bisa menyentuhnya hingga akhir, memang sih dia gak bisa menyusul schumi atau alonso, tapi itu lebih karena kenderaan yang masih kurang bagus. Kubica juga bagus, aku lihat dia sempat di posisi 5, sayang dia harus berakhir di 12, tapi lebih baik dari rekan setim nya nick.

btw, it was an amazing race, lots of overtaking, some dnf (do not finish) and of course a new champion.

yes, its a brain cracker for me

to day i try again to finish the exercise to gain a bit more knowledge about bash scripting. this script is still dirty and if you have any other idea how to make it better than i will be happy to try it. I try to use conditional and looping together to get better result for the goal, but i think i failed a bit, especially at the back (b) job. But i hope i got more idea about how to handle array variable at bash scripting which i think a bit tricky .

this is the script:

Okey, PLN you SUCK!

Well, yes… beberapa hari ini kembali lagi tradisi pemadaman listrik secara bergilir diberlakukan di kota medan dan sekitarnya oleh PLN. Kebetulan di kantor dapat jatah sekitar 4 s.d 5 jam perhari. Entah napa kembali lagi ada pemadaman bergilir ini, kemarin yang aku tau katanya seh mesin dieselnya lagi dalam perawatan rutin tapi untuk yang kali ini gak tau ntah apa penyebab putus aliran listriknya, kemungkinan seh krisis bbm. Memang seh ada UPS yang bisa bertahan sampai berjam-jam, tapi komp ku gak boleh masuk ups, soalnya para server jauh lebih penting, memang seh ada mesin genset diesel sendiri, tapi kebetulan juga lagi dalam perawatan, jadi, hasilnya adalah setengah harian yang tidak produktif, untuk mengisi waktu yang kosong, aku baca koran, kalo gak, tidur, yes it’s pretty simple!

Selain itu ada beberapa perkembangan terbaru mengenai bweb, beberapa hari ini aku kembali mulai aktif membantu mereka, sempat juga seh ditawarkan pekerjaan penuh untuk mereka, tapi harus langsung ke kantornya di Jakarta, seperti nya untuk saat ini bukan suatu pilihan, aku gak mau. Akhirnya, sepertinya akan kembali lagi seperti sebelumnya, kerja remote, yess.. i like it, tapi penawaran rincian nya belum lagi jelas dan mungkin masih ada yang harus diperjelas lagi, karena sekarang smuanya masih belum jelas, lagian tadi pas lagi ngomong-ngomong dengan mereka via ym tiba-tiba mati lampu, ya udah lah lengkap lah segalanya…

GP Ceko, tidak begitu membosankan…

Minggu kemarin nonton GP Ceko melalui layar televisi di rumah , selesai nonton kesannya adalah begitu kompetitifnya Ducati di Brno sehingga jalannya lomba jadi agak membosankan, dari start hingga finish Capirossi tidak tersentuh di depan…

Tentu saja, senang sekali rasanya nonton GP Ceko kemarin yang di siarkan langsung oleh TV7, senang nya gmana ? senangnya karena nontonnya puas, tanpa gangguan iklan di sela-sela perlombaan (seperti biasa)… di banding siaran langsung GP F1 oleh Global TV, siarang langsung MotoGP TV7 jauh lebih memuaskan, ya benar sekali, jauh lebih memuaskan… Tentu saja saya sangat berterima kasih pada Global TV untuk siaran langsung GP F1 nya..

Selain itu tentu saja faktor Rossi juga merupakan suatu daya pikat tersendiri bagi penonton MotoGP. Walaupun Rossi tidak juara di Brno tapi dia tetap menunjukkan usaha yang kuat untuk mempertahankan posisinya sebagai juara dunia tahun ini. Saya tidak menjagokan Rossi atau siapapun di MotoGP, hanya saja senang sekali melihat aksi overtakingnya di dalam lomba, sehingga menonton MotoGP jadi tidak begitu membosankan.

Selamat Ulang Tahun Kemerdekaan RI

Sudah 61 tahun usia proklamasi kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia, baik dan buruk silih berganti mengisi kemerdekaan ini… sebagai harapan, tentunya selalu ingin yang baik.

More on variables, array

Tugas latihan dari belajar bash kali ini mengenai variable, terutama sekali tentang array. Array merupakan salah satu jenis variable yang istimewa karena dapat di “isi” dengan kapasitas yang tidak terbatas (teoritis).

Setelah beberapa hari membaca dan melatih bagaimana variable di pergunakan dan dioperasikan dalam script bash, maka ini adalah salah satu tugas latihannya:

+ Write a script that does the following:

• Display the name of the script being executed.
• Display the first, third and tenth argument given to the script.
• Display the total number of arguments passed to the script.
• If there were more than three positional parameters, use shift to move all the values 3 places to the left.
• Print all the values of the remaining arguments.
• Print the number of arguments.

Test with zero, one, three and over ten arguments.

Saya buat seperti ini, my script is:

A cornered beast can become more dangerous…

Repetitive Tasks’ Exercise

Since my skill in programming and scripting is fairly poor, then for that matters i encourage myself to learn bash scripting, one of scripting language that is easy to learn. Well, yes, since i start learning this script, soon i realize that i got more advantage from it. With knowledge in bash scripting, i get more ease to finish my every day task on computing, beside my system administration task too.

I think people which need to go more on linux nor any other operating system that utilized bash, should consider to learn bash scripting, its a quite fun to learn and see your life on computing will be more easy to do.

This week i learn more about repetitive task on bash, and there are exercise need to be done. For your info, this script run on Nexenta alpha5 which powered by OpenSolaris kernel, but i think it will not too differ in any operating systems.
Exercise:

• Prints a list of servers to check, such as Apache, the SSH server, the NTP daemon, a name daemon, a power management daemon, and so on.
• For each choice the user can make, print some sensible information, like the name of the web server, NTP trace information, and so on.
• Optionally, build in a possibility for users to check other servers than the ones listed. For such cases, check that at least the given process is running.

Kubica

Selain kemenangan Jensie minggu yang lalu, salah satu pembalap yang saya tunggu-tunggu penampilannya pada GP Hungaria kemarin adalah Robert Kubica, sebagai pengganti Villeneuve saya berharap bisa melihat bagaimana kubica memulai gp pertamanya dan ternyata kubica kelihatan menjanjikan, well done kubica.

Satu pembalap lagi, Yamamoto, tapi kelihatannya yamamoto pun mirip dengan Yuji Ide seperti kemarin, masih belum bisa… padahal pengen lihat pembalap asia bisa dapat poin pasti rasanya senang sekali… semoga dengan sasis baru, pembalap Super Aguri bisa menujukkan hasil yang lebih baik lagi di gp selanjutnya… setidaknya saya ingin lihat tahun ini salah satu pembalap aguri bisa finish di depan Secuderia Torro Rosso.. if it come true, it must be a great suprise for me…

Robert Kubica says he is still happy with his F1 debut despite his disqualification from seventh place in the Hungarian Grand Prix. The BMW driver was excluded from the result when his car was found to be under weight after the race – due to his tyres being excessively worn out.

“The disqualification was very frustrating,” Kubica said. “But I’m happy that I was able to show some good driving.”

“Towards the end of the race it was really tough,” he added. “But I managed to finish in seventh and I’m happy I could fight with more experienced opponents on the track and in fact beat some of them in a straight fight.”

“I hope for a lot more nice moments in Formula One,” he concluded.
